I did that in my last vote, thought Mcccain still had a fight in him, proven wrong, without Palin in the ticket
it truly would have been a landslide win by Obama.

Peter Ferrara needs to wake up a wee bit more before he starts making sense.

I don’t agree with this statement entirely:

“The biggest problem with her responsibility as Governor of Alaska is that the state is so far away from the rest of America. No one hears of the good work she has been doing there, and the left is free to paint their own false caricature of her.”

In the Information Age, distance doesn’t mean a stinking thing. Things go in DC that people in DC never hear about all the time, every day, such as voting for a bill that wasn’t even written. If Palin were to sneeze in an unladylike fashion in the freaking South Pole, we would here about it for weeks.

No I don’t think it does. Given the effort put in the last two days on the topic I think there is a coffee pot begging to be shut off.

"As long as her career isn’t in holding future political office."

Hilarious. Leave some morsels for the wolves. Carry on Spanky!

But if we don't egg Counterpunch on, what fun would it be?

I always find the smug “expert I know more than everyone else” types to be entertaining...

I don't know where this will take her, but if she espouses the conservative values that I support, I will support her.

In and out of office.

BTW, I especially like the 2 pictures on your profile page. The one where 0bama morphs into Chavez, and the Valdemort/0bama composite! Very funny!

I hope she establishes a new national grassroots organization to fight for conservative causes. And I hope she starts a new national think tank in Washington.

We already have a good number of conservative think tanks, organizations, advocates and spokespersons.

What we are in desperate need of is conservative politicians who are willing to go out and fight.

The author of this article consigns Sarah to a career as organizer, advocate, spokesperson and think tanker.

It's a bunch of conservative self-loathing, second fiddle-loving rubbish.

Sarah needs to stay in politics and compete for the GOP nomination for president in 2012.

>It wasn’t the media and Democrats that drove her from office so much as much as it was her own fans<

That statement is certifiably insane!

Does anyone have a ping list for Sarah on here?

SolidWood keeps a Palin ping list.

I am hoping she spends two weeks of every month now touring the states doing fundraisers for a the sweeping Republican revival in 2010 that is now developing.

Sarah has a book due out next fall. I suspect part of her reason to resign early was to give her time to finish it. If you think about it, it would be very hard to do that, raise her family, and give the her job as governor proper attention. Once her book is out, there will no doubt be a book tour. By then it will be 2010, and she will spend the year making money giving speeches, and appearing on behalf of various conservative candidates and causes. That would put her well positioned to start a run in 2011 if she chooses to do so. If she doesn't, it's not a bad place to be in her life. I hope she does.

Thanks. The Chavez/0bama morph is my latest work.
I’ve been doing a lot to take on the Democrats for the past 4 election cycles.
It gets very little appreciation from most of the people who just want to spew venom on FR at everyone (including each other) and do nothing to actually defeat the Democrats... often not even show up to vote.

She’s a fricken genius.
She proved that she has enough national clout to interrupt the 24/7 cable news Michael Jackson sob-a-thon..

Excellent point....she is the only one to get the media to break away from the Michael Jackson 24/7

Of course, the liberals didnt like that.

And judging by some of the liberal GOPers (Karl Rove...I guess he managed to pull his head out of an illegal aliens...) they sound just as whiny as the MSNBC crowd. Watching Fox with that tabloid show host Gregg Jarrett whining about SP....it was like watching PMSNBC.....kudos to Great for her slap-down of him

The GOP will surely lose to Obama in ‘12 if they do not get behind Sarah Palin now....running more McCain America-Haters is not going to do it

Who am I?

I can draw crowds of thousands to hundreds of midterm GOP candidates.

I can organize a national foundation for a run at 2012.

Real conservatives: social, economic and national security conservatives all like me.

Who am I?

Much as I would love to see her as our statdard-bearer, it’s possible she won’t want it. I think it’s very likely she hasn’t made up her mind yet, but is positioning herself to go either way (see my previous post).

Counterpunch is all over the shop isn’t he/she? It?

There are people with compulsive hatreds wandering around waiting for some public figure to whom to attach them. They have the personalities of grappling hooks.

I think it is safe to say that the anti-Palin element in this thread are under the age of 40. Or maybe even 50. Brainwashed all. No wonder we are where we are in America today!
