So what are you suggesting? That the rumored allegations against Palin are true? Or that the FBI is going after her without reason, and denying it?

As it stands, the allegations are false, and the FBI and her lawyer are refuting the allegations.

I see nothing suspicious here. Just some idiot lefty rumor-mongering being crushed by reality.

That was the impression I got too. The visit to the Troops seems to have been a turning point for her. The left skewered her for CAPITALIZING the T on Troops which in my eyes is a sign of profound respect.
Likewise no caps signifies NO RESPECT.
As in paul begala, who wrote the piece about the caps. they infuriate me.

I am suggesting that it doesn't matter what Gonzalez says.

I am grateful that Sarah's lawyers have provided an answer that is synomous with what the FBI drones reported, and I am grateful to you for clarifying this to me.

However, the FBI and DOJ senior officials are anything but professional now that I know about the fact that they have defiled their professions with partisan "tip offs."

There is no room for justice in the Republic if partisan investigations and "tip-offs" are oozing out of the FBI and DOJ leadership to a communist POS like Obama.

Obama and his thugs will simply use the information and time to cover their tracks and destroy evidence that would otherwise expose them as the dangerous criminals they are.

I’ll explain, sure.
I notice that everyone is talking about Sarah, what she needs to do, what they want her to say, where they want her to go. They wax Exalted Poetry about her, or depict her as John Wayne, or sometimes, Mad Max.

I’m getting the sense that this woman is none of these things, and doesn’t want to be any of them either. She’s just a housewife and a PTA mom from a small town. I don’t think she wants to be your political DragonSlayer. I don’t think she can be, and I think she knows it. I think the pressure from all sides has gotten to her and that is what drove her out of elected office. Not just the media attacks and the witchhunts, but also her own following pulling her in all directions, demanding more from her than she was willing or able to deliver.

Thank you for explaining.
I could agree with you IF she hadn’t said she was still in the fight, IF she had not specifically asked for public feedback when she posted her announcement on her official website, IF she had not told folks on Twitter to “stay tuned,” and IF she would have shut down her PAC.
If, or when, she says, that’s it, no more, I will respect that as well.
In the meantime, calling her “ a housewife, just a PTA mom from a small town” who can’t handle it is extremely belittling...and I think she would be the first one to tell you so.

Gonzalez isn’t going to categorically deny something, if the opposite is true. If there was an investigation, he’d given no comment or some other wishy washy statement. You are reading far too much into it.

I sat and watched the critters on FoxNews make their remarks about Palin and could not believe what I was hearing.

Keep in mind that "Fair and Balanced" puts them in the middle, not on the Right. The other networkd have the Left covered.

The fact that Sarah's lawyers are in agreement with the FBI drones is calming, but the fact that senior leaders at the FBI and DOJ are feeding Obama CONFIDENTIAL information about the investigation/arrests/raids of his criminal subordinates is inexcusable.

I still have no reason to trust the senior leadership based on their behavior surrounding the "tip offs" of March 2009 which provided time and ability for the criminals to destroy evidence.

The senior leadership at the FBI and DOJ is corrupt with partisan politics, which is why I do not trust them in the slightest.

Back to the subject of this thread, it is the response from Sarah's legal advisor that matters most.

It was really Charles Krauthammer that just floored me. His analysis was a jaw-dropper. I guess I expected more. That is when I realized, that even the “trusted conservatives” in the beltway have completely lost touch with the country they live in. It is sad.
I will forever take everything they say with a handful of salt instead of one grain from now on.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Andrea Mitchell and NBC wrong again! Hey, Andrea, how many times can you be wrong and still call yourself a journalist? Maybe you should think about a formal retraction?

One is a fat, empty-headed sock puppet and the other stared in a TV show back in the 80's.

A ridiculous situation. It’s not only harassment, it’s preventing the Governor of Alaska from conducting the business of the State.

I’ve concluded that the leftists really aren’t interested in governing. They want recognition for what they believe is their superiority. They want adulation.

I sat and watched the critters on FoxNews make their remarks about Palin and could not believe what I was hearing. These people have absolutely no connection to the real world. Even those whom I had a modicum of respect for, Charles Krauthammer in particular, were so narrowly tuned the Beltway, all their pronouncements were not even relevant to how we see Sarah Palin at all. Not even a little bit."

Krauthammer doesn't like her, doesn't support her, doesn't understand her. At all. He can be remarkably thick-headed like that; too much a life inside the Beltway, he lacks perspective occasionally.

I’ve been too busy to follow the resignation much (or wade through 200 post threads). I don’t know what “conservative” pundits have attacked this woman, but a list should be drawn up and further posting of their material at FR should be banned. Self-discipline through cutting off of their future source of revenue is the only answer.
