Exactly, and we must never forget the media will never stop coming after Sarah.

Here's some reasons I listed yesterday why Sarah may have decided to leave early. How many jobs can she fulfill at once without letting many important things go?

1. Sarah has a new baby with downs syndrome, other needy children and one child a 17 years old with a baby of her own who is being savaged as much by the press as she is. Being a mom to her family is at least a part time job if not full time.

2.She just got a rumored book deal in the 7 figure range or even higher so she has a book to write.

3. She as a pac and her fund raising duties alone will be mammoth.

Remember zero has had about a year now to raise money and raised almost a billion bucks during his campaign and now has the entire U.S. Treasury at his disposal and he will and already has used every dime he can to buy votes with!! How the hell is any candidate on our side supposed to counter that kind of fund raising. It is a mammoth job!

4. She will now be free to give speeches and finally make the money she deserves. This clears her from any supposed impropriety that almost every other elected official with an "r" behind their name has.

Are they taking govt. money while campaigning or doing personal business. She won't have that taint for some time. Giving speeches and helping others run for office is also a major job which she now will make time for.

If anything I support Sarah Palin more now than before and IMHO she deserves all of our unconditional support.

I look forward to seeing her campaign for McCain's primary opponent. :)

I am ten times more jazzed about this move of hers than I was when McCain named her as running mate. She has improved her chances of reaching her potential, whatever that may be, and wherever circumstances and her choices take her. I detest McCain.

Clearly, she's a "political animal," and I sure don't sense any intention to retreat to home-base to defend only family.

The number of people she draws to her upcoming public appearances will determine the result of the 'risk' she is taking...McCain drew two people (both reporters) to the airport in Manchester, NH early in his campaign...I believe Sarah will do a bit better than that.

Important point! We can't compete with the massive war chest Democrats are able to amass. NO MORE MATCHING FUNDS!

Another thought - there is a LOT of virulent anger out there. If it's not channeled positively, it will manifest itself in negative ways. Anger can be a force for ill or a force for good. Sarah might be able to help funnel that anger toward positive action.

I think we have to be careful not to expect that Sarah is going to ride in on her white horse (or white snowmobile), clean up D.C. and guarantee GOP victories for the next decade. She can certainly provide leadership, but she can't do it all alone and, although I have great faith in her courage and fortitude, I'm not expecting her to be a miracle worker. She'll need lots of help.
