Are you talking to me??? At what point did I bash Palin? You must have missed my previous posts. Especially the one where I said I donated to the McCain campaing ONLY because of Palin. And would donate to any office she chooses to run for.

It’s reminding me of how Rush finally had enough of carrying the Republicans who have been more RINOs than anything and threw them off his back. I’m thrilled over it!

People do not want “politics as usual” nor do they want the “hopy-changie” direction Zero is taking us. If/when people start to see what Sarah is doing, there will be a ground-swell of support.

Beckett has been here six years longer than you have. He’s hardly a DU plant.

You folks who think Sarah just pulled off one of the brightest moves in political history, need to realize that not everyone is convinced of it, even on our side of the isle.

Her executive experience is something I saluted her for during the campaign last year, even though it was limited to a term as mayor of a relatively small town, and serving a year and a half as Governor of Alaska. This was still more than Obama had going for him.

Now my mention of her executive experience will be reference with the fact that she resigned because the Democrats were making things rough for her. And yes, they were making things rough for her. It’s inexcusable what they have been doing. Well, as true as that is, when she’s in Washington, D.C. shes in for one hell of a surprise. That town can be every bit as vicious as what she has just been through. What then?

I know many of you support Sarah. I have been a big supporter of her too, so I know where you are coming from. What I realize is that Conservatives cannot vote her in ourselves. We are going to need Independents and Democrats to join us to achieve that.

It’s my opinion, she just made that a much harder sell.

So you can trash folks for realizing not everyone is going to see it like we do, and who therefore think Palin just reduced here chances, if you like. It won’t change reality.

Again...

I like the way you think. The shock wave now rolling through the political press reminds me of a similar event that occurred not too long ago ... when McCain made the brilliant maneuver to select Palin for the VP position. History in the making then, and perhaps again now. If it makes the Libs feel dread, and makes the Rinos feel queasy, it's a good thing for us conservatives.

Beckett, you must live on either the east or west coast....In which case you’ll NEVER get it!

Are you a hunting member of the NRA? Ever skin an animal? Run a race on a dirt road? Grow your own FOOD? Let your clothes dry out on the line?

Bet you live in an AC house and have restaurants within a couple miles of your home....

HINT some of us don’t live that way.....We’re in touch with the land. We’re in touch with our forefathers who were in touch with the land. We have a personal attachment to America’s roots....We get it cause Sarah get’s it ....She’s one of us.

Ha! someone being around a long time excludes them from having the truth called out on them????? Biden, KKK Byrd, Kennedy (captain of the USS Oldsmobile)...should I go on?

That is a ridiculous assertion and oh, by the way, I’ve been here since 2004 so BFD. Your ‘friend’ is out of line and I’m going to call him on it.

Purged? That must have been your college thesis on the First Amendment.

I don’t think it’s all that unreasonable to think that Palin just made her sale to Independents and Democrats a whole lot harder. And we cannot elect her by ourselves, even if every Conservative in the nation votes for her.

What a Load of crap your peddling.
Your scared she out maneuvered the Obama smear team. Unlike the messiah , Palin has ethics and will not allow herself to collect a paycheck on the taxpayers DIME while running for another office ! What did the Chicago Thug do ! He went to the Senate and proceeded to collect s huge paycheck and rarely voted and ran for the WH full time on out tax dollars ans never finished his 6 years in the senate . I guess you like the fact that Palin was trapped in Alaska spending thousands on baseless phony ethics complaints which were then peddled by the Axelrod’s smear team in the Obama state media .

Except that Sarah Palin only "quit" in the way that a young man might "quit" his job in the private sector to enlist in the Marines after 9/11, or after Pearl Harbor.

Outstanding post sir!!!

“Beckett has been here six years longer than you have. He’s hardly a DU plant.”

Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t bow to his senority. But before you “correct” me for my lack of deference, you need to read back over his posts (especially the one where he said he couldn’t stomach the stupidity here) and compare those to similar posts at the liberal sites.

Then the country’s going to be restless for 2012 to arrive so they can vote her in in Obama’s stead.

IRONY: In 2012 the 'democratic' voters are so sick of obama, they help vote Palin in.

Why does Rush say no one knows why Palin resigned? Sarah stated very clearly why she resigned.

"She's no longer a serious candidate for president," said Larry Sabato, head of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia.

I never thought she was in the first place.

What kind of dopes cannot see that this pinhead woman, who when speaking off the cuff makes George Bush sound brilliant,...

Sorry, but this boiler-plate Palin bashing negates any credibility regarding the faux concern for Alaska and her oath of office. Sorry, I'm not buying that it would have made any difference to beckett whether she served the remaining 18 months or not. This seems a bit opportunistic IMHO.
