Not at all. I'm just pinging you because the post I am responding to was directed to you, and I thought it only polite to let you know. My post was directed to Doughty One, with a ping to you and beckett as simply a heads up.

Feel free to ignore it.

I guess it would depend of what you call a decent argument. Someone calling either Gov. Palin or other FReepers “pinheads” is not a decent argument, in my opinion.

If she did indeed embezzle even 5 bucks she’s through and she should be.

I have been a huge supporter of Palin even attending her LA rally last year but as much as I hate to admit it, Republicans have a much lower bar to cross than the defaulty unethical DemocRATS.

Well, that’s unfortunate. There are times when her down home charms can be seen in this light, if you want to be hyper critical. I sure don’t see her that way.

There is a question I keep asking myself from time to time, and up until Friday morning I had simply refused to answer it in a negative manner.

“Do I like Sarah Palin because of her political savvy and intellectual prowess, or am I just desperate to see someone with her inner core and spark run for the Presidency?”

Sarah’s core values are solid IMO. I don’t think she got everything right, but her heart is in the right place. That means a lot to me. When she made one comment about illegal immigration I didn’t care for, it certainly put my radar on notice. I’d certainly like to see that clarified. Other than those concerns, and I don’t consider any of them a deal breaker other than the immigration issue, I’m still in her camp even though I think she just made it nearly impossible for her to do what I had hoped she would.

If Beckett is off the reservation and perhaps he is, I still think it’s best to confront him on the issues. Hell, I’m sure many folks here think I’m a D.U. plant right now.

Sometimes laying it on the line like you see it isn’t very popular.

Actually, a "winner" would have gone on all the morning shows and taken the questions head-on making the TV pundits gag on their self-satisfaction. What a concept, huh? Come on, at least try to use your brain. Twitter and Face Book: communication of champions!! Give me a break.

As for Kristol, just because you're ignorant of any "evidence" of his support, means nothing. He was talking up this "incredible Governor from Alaska" on FOX, a full year before the nomination and reports I read said he met several times with McCain to get him to consider her. No one in the McCain camp knew Alaska had a governor.

Not a problem. I understand. Thanks for the polite response ... unlike RasterMaster previously.

As I said previously, I mistakenly responded to your post incorrectly. I apologize.

As far as calling me a DUmba$$, I’ll ignore that, simply assuming you’re off your medication and need a nap and your diaper changed.

there is a very visible uptick in the infiltrators and frankly saboteurs

Yes, there is.

At first the trolls were 'individual' cases. People with something to 'prove'.

Now they are government-payed assassins. We addressed power, and it's corruption, now power recognizes us and wants us to shut up, and they are willing to pay for it.

But, it's still not 'new'.

The problem is that it may become dominant.

Trisham, I’m not sure why you requested me to read post #77. Did I make a mistake that you have spotted, or do you just disagree with the post?

"Yes, I must for responded to a post incorrectly (that time)"

I didn't see it since you posted it to yourself.

Since RonDog's on the thread, and Annie "Get Your Gun" Coulter has also commented on the lady from Alaska...
LOL!

Thanks, Servant of the Cross!

GREAT screen name, BTW!
I am really looking forward to Ann's WEEKLY COLUMN about this!

So far, all that she has on her website is a link to the humorous post on ScrappleFace:

I always thought you were from DailyKos. ;^)

Btw, I agree with you about Palin making a huge mistake in stepping down. OTOH, Dick Nixon made a comeback after his '62 debacle against Pat Brown.

You know of course, when someone resorts to name calling they’ve already lost the argument. You knew that, right?
