I’ve seen this “hot in the kitchen” post so many times that all of you very well may be the same poster with different screen names.

I concur, spacejunkie. In the next 16 months the nation will see how important her role in restoring a gubernatorial majority and congressional voice to the Republicans—and coalescing the nation around a new, small government, freedom-loving coalition. That she handed the Alaska governship on to her trusted lieutenant in order to lead the nation’s righting of its political ship will be seen as almost a natural imperative, a hero’s call, that she simply answered. Then the country’s going to be restless for 2012 to arrive so they can vote her in in Obama’s stead.

Sarah Palin should write a book, do the book tour, make some money and then run in 2016.

WHY? Are you saying Obama is unbeatable so we should just concede 2012?

This is not the face of a lady "running away in tears", but more a image of the "cat who ate the canary"...

A cat with a key to the pet store cage...

I completely agree. I don’t understand the propensity for some people (on this forum of all places) to parrot the ones who hate Sarah Palin the most, those very enemies of conservatism itself, as they indulge their greatest desire and fantasy : that Sarah Palin has been removed from their opposition. Watch and wait my FRiends. Patience. It’s very probable there’s more to this tale than has been told.

Indeed....and, furthermore, I think we can almost ALL agree that Palin does NOT hold back on what she thinks or feels (I absolutely love that quality). If she remained as gov of AK, I believe she would naturally refrain from speaking her mind. Now that she is completely untethered from people that want to take her down we are going to hear her speak the truth about hussein and his ilk over and over and over.

I cannot wait. She is practically the only person in R leadership with big ones...that clank!

One thing Sarah is not, is a quitter. She is giving herself and Lord willing America a new job description. Call it restructuring, shuffling but quitter no way. Her latest move just gave the Dems and Rinos something new to dish her about. I talked to folks about this yesterday and there is no abandonment of Sarah happening. Those talking up all the negative fodder never cared for her in the first place.

Very intersting. Rush would always chide Clinton and Obama for making news after 3:00 just after his show went off the air. This time Sarah made news. I agree that it would really be almost impossible to run for president from Alaska. That legislature has a cow everytime she goes out of state so can imagine if she ran for president while being governor. If she said I will not run fro re-election you know that moveon.org type democrats up there would still make these dopey “ethical” accusations causing the Alaska taxpayers to spend even more money. So she really is doing whats probably best for Alaska.

The beauty of the whole move is the options it creates.

For he supporters it creates possibilities heretofore unknown.

For her detractors, it creates a sense of dread and the possibility of being wrong.

Again...

Nor do I think the RINO “quitter” label will stick. ... Sarah Palin is “stepping down” from Alaskan Governor to move on to a higher calling, thus driving the LIEberal (and RINO) media to be twisted in knots still trying to figure out a playbook to deal with it.

I think that is pretty much right. Most people, especially Palin supporters, will soon will forget about the resignation. Her detractors will find fault with her no matter what she does, so I discount their criticism.

If when the time comes she does announce for 2012, I see the grassroots conservative movement hugely energized to get her elected. Make no mistake: that is why she is feared.

Exactly who knows at this point. I have mixed emotions about Palin. Yes, she is wonderful, Presidential material I am not convinced yet. (Although without a doubt she could do a much better job than Bozo in there now). I thought today, it would be tough to be a half way good mother governor, mother and get prepared for a Presidential campaign. Something would have to go. Resigning as gov would give her so much flexibility in travel and speaking engagements. And it would allow her to really make some money to pay all of these legal fees. Gee, I really hate Socialists liberal. Are there any other kinds of liberal however

Rush needs to read her speech again. She told us exactly why she resigned. What is ahead for her in the future, The Lord knows she is being led of Him. I do not think Sarah Palin knows yet.

I think she will campaign, but the UK telegraph’s headline is a little misleading, huh? They report that she MAY run.

I think this gives a good indication of what she might be up to and that she is seriously considering a 2012 run:
Sarah Palin to campaign around America after surprise resignation as Alaska governor

Yet again, better news and analysis of American politics for the UK Daily Telegraph.

They seem to be the present best source for reasonable political MSM news at this time...:^)
