Well, considering the Chinese snuck poison into my dog’s food and chemicals and lead into my kid’s toys, such a beilef may well be spot on.
You have to remember, the Chinese don’t give a rip if the Muslims don’t eat pork. If there is pork in the ingredients, the Muslims need to happy they have food in the eyes of the Chinese. The Chinese view the Muslim phobia about pork as ungratefulness considering the Chinese remember when they were lucky to get a meat once a month and God only know what it was. Even vegeterian chinese won’t complain if meat is in the pot.
The Chinese view the whole pork thing as an opportunity for the Muslims to get over themselves. If you don’t want pork, don’t order pork. But STFU about the soup.
