Is Malia Obama following in the fashionista footsteps of her mother, First Lady Michelle Obama, and flashing designer duds?
For the flight with her family from Washington DC to Moscow, the 11-year old First Tween sported a skirt that bears a striking resemblance to one by designer See by Chloe.
The skirt is available for purchase online at Intermix, retails for $345 but is now on sale for $219.
The White House does not comment on the clothing choices of the First Daughters and would not confirm that the skirt was indeed by the designer.
If so, Malia, who just turned eleven this past weekend, may have inherited her mother's taste in sometimes expensive clothes. Most recently Mrs. Obama, who at times is also known to wear affordable J Crew, was seen sporting a pair of $540 kicks at a community service event at a DC food bank.

Obama’s children are no more guilty than Palin’s. We need to get dirty but not that dirty.
Oh, come on, Hildy. You know the boob belts and too-small sweaters are simply the living end.
Good grief - the girls are wearing sweaters now also. Quick - someone put a “too small” sweater on the zero!
Michelle’s butt “the moose caboose”.
That’s right except I can’t imagine why one would want to put a $325 skirt on an 11 year old girl?
[The Palin Precedent] Hopefully, she doesn’t get raped by A-Rod at Yankee Stadium...

I couldn't find a photo of Caitlyn Taylor.
It took three people to write this?!
“Eh.. we shouldnt attack the daughters.”
ObaMugabes daughters are fair game.
Looks likes shes getting fat to me.
I agree, freekitty. It just doesn't seem appropriate for a parent to do. And my only other comment on it is that it also doesn't seem appropriate considering the over-the-top American job losses. It's way out of touch.
I wasn't suggesting that we stoop to their level.
Their clothes.
Their looks.
Their choice in music and movies.
And if those won't do, how about making up some outrageous and scurrilous conspiracy theories?
seriously, do you think so?
Good enough.
See by Chloe, Jardin Skirt, $385
I confess that I missed the sarcasm.
kcvl, I also believe that those “writers” are doing a huge disservice to Malia. This type of attention is I’m sure NOT wanted by an eleven year old. She’s a child, and the writers are capriciously assigning adult labels/conceits to her. Those clueless buffoons are PIMPING HER.
those kids look like they have downs syndrome...someone should call the Huffington Post
I also agree especially when they are living like royalty they aren’t on purpose.
Chances are very likely that Jacko did indeed float away to that Proverbial Little Boys Playground In The Sky.
You'll likely see photos of him if it's an open casket ceremony. But you could put a wax mannequin in the coffin and not know the difference.
The guy was in massive debt, he had lawyers on his heels, he stubbornly refused to sell off the Beatles Catalog, and he had a consistent history of canceling come-back appearances / record albums / etc.
I don't have any evidence to support any fake-his-death theories, nor would I want to gather such evidence; I have a life to live and bills to pay. But there's always a possibility that Jacko pulled a fast one (no snickering).
After all, if a rabid anti-American Kenyan with a questionable past can glide into the Oval Office with relative ease, it's not too much of a stretch to theorize that Jacko is living on an island somewhere being served "Jesus Juice" by little boys younger than 12 years old.
I think we should boycott any company that uses the Obama children to sell their merchandise.
