So writes Scott Wagner, a Police Academy Commander and community college professor who also commands a Counter Terror Training Unit in an article that's flying into email in-boxes faster than the click of a mouse.

Why?

Four reasons.

You'll find out what they are when you hear what this 29 year law enforcement veteran, deputy sheriff, and precision marksman has to say -- it's shocking... and alarming.

Paste this into your browser and pour yourself a stiff one.

I interviewed Cmdr. Wagner on my radio program last night. You can join the hundreds of others who have listened to it by pasting the link below into your browser. Ready? Aim? Fire.

Interesting. There is some good commentary at the link, as well.

AR15s have literally flown off of dealer shelves

Literally? Just sprouted wings, twittered a few times, and fluttered out the door?

From this, I take it that at this time, the “four reasons” are not to be stated?

1. Hordes of un-employed middle class white folks breaking into homes and stealing stuff to pawn to keep their kids in Abercrombie and Fitch clothing.

2. Luxury deprived bond-daddies breaking into homes and stealing whiskey, alcohol, and prescription drugs.

3. Lecherous republican leaders, who now bereft of power want to break in and steal our women folk.

4. Caffeine addicted Starbucks drinkers who now have to steal to support their habit.

LEOs should be scared. They are "caught in the middle". They may be trying to decide whether they will "turn theirs in" when the time comes but more importantly they had best be deciding which side they are on and how to make that clear to those of us who have already decided we won't be turning a damn thing in. It is truly a dilemma and one I wouldn't care to be in. How can they keep from becoming targets when the day comes?

Four Reasons Why Gun Sales Are Up

More hype and paranoia. Just because one sector of the economy is booming.

There is nothing unusual at all about the sharp increases in firearm and ammo sales. Absolutely nothing unusual at all.

People always increase their commodities and defensive stores when they are facing an extremely high probability of unprecedented combinations of civil war, world war, massive increases in crime, anarchy in the streets, and ordinary Class-A mayhem.

From the article:

These purchasers weren’t spending this kind of money just to turn in the guns for no compensation when a government tells them to. I foresee much civil disobedience coming down the road.

Ya Got that right!!

Do they really think that we're all going to just give up private property – life saving private property?

Everyone around here is buying AR-15s like crazy.

I think anything that shoots .308 Win/7.62 NATO is a better choice for patriot riflemen, in case you ever really need to reach out and touch someone.

If you can't get a complete AR-15, at least get a lower receiver, I've seen private sellers with them at gun shows.

Gun sales started escalating early 2008. The bank failings in March were the original catalyst.

Then came the nomination of McCain...not the most gun-friendly Republican.

The summer battle between Clinton & Obama and their appeals to the left-wing of the party brought the reality of another assault weapon ban to the fore.

The financial and real estate collapse in September created fear of a complete loss of all economic and social security.

The election of Obama cemented the fear of additional firearm restrictions, intrusive government, and economic uncertainty.

The stimulus, auto bankruptcies and other legislation are just driving the concerns held by citizens even more.

The recent “green shoots” positive talk has helped give some people a better feeling about the economy (regardless of truth) and this has slowed the firearm demands. However, the rest of us know that the economy is still getting worse and the firearm demand will come back with a vengence.

Add to this a possible terrorist attack and some civil unrest in the future and we could have a total societal breakdown within 12 months.

I bought my first AR-15 on Nov 4, 2008. Figured I’d beat the rush and the price increases.
