Michael Moore Falls For "Capitalism" (Do-I-Have-To-Say-It Alert!)

Michael Moore's new global financial crisis documentary has scored a title - "Capitalism: A Love Story" reports Variety.

The film takes a look at "the disastrous impact that corporate dominance and out-of-control profit motives have on the lives of Americans and citizens of the world."

"It will be the perfect date movie. It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism" said Moore in a statement on Wednesday.

The film hits theaters on October 2nd.

Of course “IT” —along with freedom—created the wealthiest, most powerful nation on earth. But I’m sure that won’t be heavily featured in the movie!

I predict a bigger box office dud (at least in the U.S.) than “Sicko.”

Moore is so....so.....2004.

So he mentions 14,000 jobs lost daily? Does it also mention how many jobs capitalism creates daily?

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore

Friends,

I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.

So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?

No matter how many times socialism fails, dumbass socialists like Moore insist that it’s good for us. These idiots haven’t learned anything in forty years. They’re incapable of learning.

Unless this movie has Moore strapping on a suicide vest and blowing himself up deep inside a mountain, I don't want to watch it...

Surprise! Moore has done an anti-capitalist movie. Sadly, many conservatives will reflexively jump to the defense of corporate Ammerica without taking a moment to notice that he is condemning “capitalism” for the failures of FASCISM. The cozy relationship between corporations, (profit and non-profit,) facilitated by lobbyists funding political campaigns in return for policy favors is not “free market capitalism.”

Joe-the-plumber and small business are, essentially, all of what is left of “capitalism” in our country. (A group that has yet to see any of Barry’s stimulus.)

We aren’t surprised to see Michael Moore attacking capitalism for the crimes committed by fascism, but it doesn’t help that our own conservative talkers refer to Wall St, the big three auto, big oil, big pharma, as “free market capitalism” as if they haven’t made the connection between campaign funding and policy buying. Heck, when was the last time you heard a conservative talker critical of the posterboy for fascism - the Federal Rerserve?

Capitalism is under attack from the left and the right is frequently duped into defending fascism.

I thought his next film was supposed to be a parade of whistle-blowing malcontents who work for health insurance companies?

>>anti-capitalist

Since money is evil, I hope he encourages theatres to show it for free and also not charge anybody for popcorn, etc. After all the big corporate movie theatre chains are responsible for all this misery too, aren’t they?

Reminds me of when Chryssie Hynde said during a concert that she hoped the Muslims would win the WOT and: “down with the
economic s-— this country represents!” How much money
did their band make over the years by selling albums on
major labels and making big profits in arena concerts?
Capitalism is SO evil, eh.
Communism is great—as long as it’s for the OTHER folks,
I guess.

No matter how many times socialism fails, dumbass socialists like Moore insist that it’s good for us.

Since communism does not believe in PERSONAL PROPERTY, I enjoy asking communist supporters(usually young college kids) if I can take the Range Rover( that mommy and daddy paid for) parked in their drive-way out for a day of ‘off roading’.

First thing out their mouth is: No!!!It’s MINE.

When reminded what the Hammer and Sickle bumper sticker that’s right next to the No Blood for Oil sticker on their gas guzzling SUV means , most quickly begin ranting about Bush and the so-called evils of capitalism.

Useful Idiots at it’s finest.

So this means he'll be demanding that the film be shot under the auspices of a new Department of Entertainment federal office, and that all the profits will go toward socialized medicine and carbon credit purchases, right?
