14 years is longer than many murder raps. Does anyone doubt that the sentence would have been lighter had the perp been FEMALE?

I am learning the hard way that the contempt put forth in the media for men in the US has seeped into the court system(s). No wonder women are choosing divorce more often than in the past, they are taught to revile men their whole life.
At the bitter end of a divorce, a man is capable of doing anything to keep the ex from getting her hands on his money.
I remember a case many years back where a Navy chief with more than 25 years service took an Honorable Discharge rather than retirement because he didn’t want his ex-wife to get her hands on his pension.
This is taking it to extremes though.
