It might. If it does, it will only matter to hard-core political junkies and people who already dislike Palin. It will be ancient history to the rest of the public, esp if her campaigning for Perry et al, book deal, speaking circuit, fund raising, etc garner support (and they will).
And even then, all she has to say is, “It took 3 years of hard work to get to this point, and unlike certain politicians (zero), I did not want to pretend to do one job - being governor or a Congressperson - when I was doing another - helping the national conservative cause.”
