It has always frustrated me as a Phils fan that ESPN & other sports outlets continue to recognize Dykstra as a “former Met” even though he played the bulk of his productive career with Philadelphia. I guess that’s what winning a World Series does... causes the baseball fan to remember you with a particular team.
But now that Dykstra is a ‘failure’, he’s suddenly a “former-Phillie”, first. Go figure.
