Why was it painful for him?
As a Kenyan, his people were never enslaved and shipped to America or anywhere else. East Africans are not West Africans.
As a Muslim (so some say), his people were, in fact, RESPONSIBLE for the beginning of the West African slave trade.

Africa was known to support slave trading... what's the deal here? this article tries to make it seem like the Holocaust.... Arabs and Africans got rich from slave trading If mechele fought back tears, perhaps they were tears from fatigue/stress/hangover/cameras, etc. any of which will do it

“do what we can to fight against the kinds of evils” of the the Wesat African Arab/Muslim slave trade ?
Hmmmm....any Muslims still invading Black Africa and being “Evil” ?
Trying to get 200 year old Sympathy from this Trip ? Repriations ? You’re NOT the President of Africa....But you can stay and rule if you want, ignore what the people want, just do your Marxist thing in Africa, it will be a lot easier....no constitution to slow you down.
