I disagree. He and his ilk are out to hurt FR. They want all conservative sites shut down. If they dig themselves a hole, let them. The more hateful, ignorant rantings they spew, the less likely they will EVER gain credibility. Just like ACORN, whose name is so tarnished they had to change it. Let them fail. If you disagree, than I have to question why? Do you not agree that ACORNS own stupidity is leading to their downfall? Let them FALL, FAIL on their own.

People need to check the way back machines. This guy went under the name of hollywoodoz with the San Francisco Examiner and a private website hollywoodoz.com. The links on google show many connections to pornography. I don't have the stomach or language skills to determine who he is fixated on. The google search Link is here.

He also has backward ties with the "gaya" website. I know from an ongoing investigation (my young daughter was targeted) that sexual predators hang out there. It could be a coincidence, but every avenue of investigation should be open. His megalomaniac MO is a clue.

I don’t believe there is every any excuse for racist attacks or attacks against children and if I ever thought this was business as usual on Free Republic I would say so and leave the site without hesitation. But I assure you such things are an anomoly and in no way reflect the values of the majority of conservatives.

I think the gist of this thread is that he himself had a part in the postings, then "reported" about them within 15 minutes to daily kos ( minus screen names, natch); and later to the Vancouver Sun ( where he also works).

All the offensive posters were newbs, and all were banned.
