Sure we'll have them back but they can only swim on the 2nd Tuesday of each week and only after midnight of a full moon.

Good way to avoid Sharpton and lawsuits. I would do the same but this is also a goodwill gesture. The kids should be on best behavior and dittos for the hosts

“And a bit of related good news on the economic front: The Valley Club is planning to hire fifty part-time security guards for every Monday for the rest of the summer...”

Those kids look like an MTV music video. If I went to that place I’d be out.

LMAO!!!

This swim club (and its neighbborhood) are near where I live and I gurantee you that most of the people in that area - - and certainly at that swim club - - voted for Ubama.

Hey, Valley! Have fun with all your political correctness now, you pack of sick Democrat scumbags.

“...and some swim club members pulled their children out of the pool.”

Really? I find that incredible that someone would actually pull their own child OUT of a pool because a little black or hispanic kid was swimming in it!

Man, I hope that’s not a FACT and just the usual ‘Whitey Sucks’ PROJECTION from a LibTard journalist or some mysterious ‘eyewitness’ that ‘could not later be reached for comment.’ :(

However, I understand that the rich ARE different than you and me, and I have never lived in a gated community, let alone been invited to ONE pool party in one in my entire life, LOL! Are they truly THAT insulated from the rest of the world?

And are they 0bama voters? ;)

I have a feeling it had less to do with the race of the kids and more to do with the sheer number of kids entering the pool

Could be. But leave it to the AP to race bait. It’s their stock and trade! ;)

I loved their original reason saying that the children could not swim there that it would change the complexion of the club.

Myself I grew up going to the local city pool and walking in you had to pass through a winding passageway that had numerous shower heads and ankle deep water. By the time you got to the pool area you were cleaner than if you had taken a bath.

That is EXACTLY what the Philadelphia Inquirer article said. The pool was overwhelmed by the sheer number of kids. And I cannot imagine the behavior of 65 inner city yutes comporting well with the decorum expected at the club.

The club board was absolutely nuts to offer this contract in the first place.

I grew up using a public pool, too. I know just what you mean. ;)

I work for a program that involves inner city youths, I wouldn’t want to have too many of them in a pool at once, too high a likelihood that a lot will drown themselves at them same time making life difficult for the lifeguards.

I would pull a small child from the pool if 65 children from the ages of 7 to 14 suddenly showed up.

I might be ticked at the club if I enjoyed a quiet uncrowded atmosphere with familiar people and they invited 70 plus strangers without consulting the membership.

My club IS small, quiet and cozy. If we had 65 children in the water at once, that would be our biggest day of the year.

Now maybe it was racism or snobbery. But it could just be safety issues or discomfort with rowdiness or change.

LOL! for some reason (tonights crown royale reserve maybe?)that visual reminds me of smokin’ joe frazier at the ‘73 or so superstars competition swimming event when he almost swallowed half the pool!

I wasn’t aware black people could swim.

Mexicans, either learn to swim or stay in Mexico.

(If you can’t take this as a joke, it’s not the color of your skin that’s the problem, it’s the thickness)
