This is an odd coincidence i guess, but just thought id share it. I was reading about the Antonov-25 airplane that flew those ultra long range flights from Moscow to the pacific northwest in the late 1930s.
After the flight across the icecap, they landed at BARAK airfield near Vancouver! And supposedly Obama’s mom lived in Seattle about the time of his birth. One of the theories is that she gave birth in Vancouver. Is “Barak” a family name? Did she name him after the place where Soviet airmen landed? This is from Wiki, i wonder about them on politics, but this was an article about old airplanes. I just thought it was odd for that name to pop up in Vancouver back then, associated with a communist record setting flight.
