I don’t like Federal spending for education but community colleges are the most cost-effective form of higher education and deserve support if anything does.
Plus, someone’s got to re-train all these displaced workers for their new “green jobs” ;-)
Federal college loan and grant programs have driven up university tuition costs. This Obama program will do the same to community colleges which should be the responsibilty of state governments.
