Something is wrong. I do not think any of these girls are really lesbians. They look nothing like the lesbians in naughty movies I have heard about.
Seriously, though, what do you do? Some of these poor kids are really homosexual, but some are just caught up in it. Thankfully, for a big state there seems to be a small turnout.

A classic moment from an early 80’s “Phil Donahue” show (we had no choice, it was on right before “Mission:Impossible”.
The episode was all about lesbians, and of course, the ones Phil had on were NOT your “lipstick lesbians”, but more of the “truck-toting diesel dyke” variety.
Phil is taking callers: one guy calls in and asks if they’re lesbians because they wanted to be, or just because they were ugly and couldn’t get men. . . . Phil was utterly dumbfounded, and the show ended about a minute later. .
well, that is gonna delay dinner for a bit. I don’t think it would stay where it is supposed to if I ate now, after watching that video. good God.

Most of the lesbians I know or have read about were sexually abused as children.
Well there is a problem because many kids who feel awkward, don’t fit in will be pushed and pressured to align themselves with such groups.
And might make themselves fat and portly for the same reason.
This is great advertising...for those states where they will soon vote on homosexuals tying the knot.
Show this video and simply say....vote yes or no!

That’s what bothers me about some of the “pride” issues. I hate to see kids who are just confused about things get convinced they are gay when many are not. IMHO we should be tolerant of people who are born with what I call a dysfunction.
Liberals, of course, will never go for the idea that homosexuality is an abnormality so even calling it a dysfunction will send them into orbit. I have known a few homosexuals who do not come by it naturally, and who do it because they just love the heck out of the lifestyle. I know two guys who have both been married and had no problem leading a hetero life then decided at a later age they wanted something different. Its a blast to them and to cover up they have to convince the rest of us that it is normal.
Some of these kids get caught up in a lifestyle that so many times ends badly. Its a sin to lead some dumb kid down this path.

There seems to be a lot of that. Didn’t Anne Heche go thru that. My ex was a shrink and thats also what she said was that so many lesbians had been abused or treated like crap by their fathers or other men in their life.

And many were abused/ introduced to “the lifestyle” via the Girl Scouts. I know, as two of my three sisters were abused there. . .and why they would NOT let my youngest sister anywhere NEAR the Girl Scouts. . .

Pressured to align sounds like a plattitude for solicitation. I agree with your precept that kids want to belong but surely other groups have something to offer besides a pretty rainbow symbol.
Two words: Reproductive Fitness.
It’s very tempting to just let the dogs catch the car and remove themselves from the gene pool. If only they could be allowed to self-destruct without taking Western Civilization down with them...
