What does bump mean?
It means to do just what you did...reply to somebody which bumps the thread to the top of the list, so it gets on the first page. More people view it. Every time someone replies or just writes “bump” or anything it send the thread to the top of the list of threads. If you click on “forum” you get taken to the first or front page.
