Since August 8 is a SATURDAY, I'm now thinking about making a day of it, for anyone who wants to join me (and are NOT going inside for the $150/person Gala Dinner) for PART, or ALL of the following:

1 - Get there early (the Library opens at 10 am) -- for a short TOUR of the Library, until just after noon -- and then,

2 - Meet at the picnic tables just outside the main entrance for a "bring your own" PICNIC LUNCH from around 1 pm to 3 pm, and then finally,

3 - Gather (somewhere, to be determined) -- for a RALLY to show our support for Governor Palin, from around 3 pm to 6 pm.

I drove up to the Library this afternoon -- for some "advance recon" -- and will post the results of that trip soon.

Is it even confirmed that she is going. I don’t want people to jump the gun just to be disappointed. John Ziegler is attending and speaking and he said yesterday that it “appears” that Sarah is attending but she has not confirmed it herself yet
