Things are going well for Ted Nugent. He just released a DVD of his 6000th concert, he has a new reality show coming out next month and he has the satisfaction of knowing of being able to say "I told you so" to anyone who's doubted his political opinions. "Life is wonderful," he tells Spinner. I've done the right things. I've never been liberal so I've got a nest egg. I've always lived within my means."
These days, you can see, hear or read Nugent's thoughts on politics and the country everywhere you go. "If I try to make my voice heard any more than I already have, you would have been Nugified with a giant crowbar skull marking," he says. "I have pieces in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Detroit news and WacoTrib.com. I've been doing speaking engagements at universities and public events for a couple dozen years now. I've been an activist forever. I've been warning people that this is coming. I wrote the first article identifying the artificial economy of America that is the house of cards we're seeing fall now. I think I first wrote that in the late '80s."
But just because Uncle Ted is being heard doesn't mean he's happy with what he sees. "With a liberal in the White House, it's sad to see the celebration of mediocrity and slovenliness and the cult of denial expand," he says. "That's heartbreaking to see this once-great nation abandon the drive of excellence and the new squawking mantra of whining and excuse-making, which is why we have the president we have, and for him and his administration to defy the Constitution and Fedzilla exploding into the private sector and controlling corporations, it's shocking."

.. and he's creating czar after czar to do it.
We are about to be czarred and fettered.
Ted’s one of the very few that speaks truth to power. Certainly no Republican seems to, kick them all out. GO SARAH! Man, the Right is really hungry for some good, solid leadership, enough girly-men already, enough ditzy women like KBH (our cheerleader) in Texas too, enough!
The picture in post 1 made me think of you.
The Nuge does not lie.
Palin/Nugent 2012!
I like his music, most of it back in his earlier days w/ the Amboy Dukes...but what gets me is his singing about loving promiscuous sex & alcohol while @ the same time thinking that marijuana & other recreational drugs are the bane of Mankind. He is a total hypocrite.
Ted Nugent rocks!
You are deqd on with your comments. My whole family loves the Ted because he is not afraid to be politically incorrect and will tell the truth as he sees it. His book “Ted, white and blue” was awesome and right on. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Ted and am glad he is on our side.
Obama = the anti Abe Lincoln?
it is simple really.
1. you don’t have to be a pot head to like the opposite sex.
2. some people drink (legal) others engage in illegal drugs.
simple now - huh?
The Nuge has always had a way with words.
Uncle Ted Bump!!! Gonzo Baby!!!
I’m of the generation that’s probably not too “conducive” to Ted’s music but I sure respect the man and his wife Shemane. We crossed paths at BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center) several times when we were visiting wounded soldiers/Marines. He help fund or funded another Fisher House there. I really enjoy him, you ought to see him and Shemane move around the wounded, sincere, caring and good humor too, amazing stuff.
No, he’s a treasure for sure, our hunting interests are the same so there’s much common ground!
Say it like so, Ted!!!!!!!!!
I’m not aware of Ted Nugent drinking anything stronger than coffee. He usually says that alcohol is bad because it reduces the drinker’s awareness.
I recently attended a benefit for families of soldiers killed in the GWOT. One of the silent auction items contained 3 Nuge bumper stickers. I bid up to $23 to get them. One, “Call of the Wild, Ted Nugent” is on my bass case. The one that reads “I love animals, they’re delicious” is going to a hunter friend. The “Ted Nugent for President” is going on my pickup.
