Time For Some Political Knee Capping

Does anyone with a few brain cells to rub together believe that the likes of Christopher Buckley, David Frum, Peggy Noonan, or that paragon of Republicanism, Colin Powell, represent anything other than the elitist (read as: liberal) northeast establishment that spawned them?

These are the people who will lead the “New Republican” Party? The very people who voted for Barack Obama? I guess I’m just one of those out-of-touch conservative throwbacks that haven’t gotten the news that the age of Reaganism is dead.

Does anyone think that Colin Bowel would vote for anyone other than another black?

Simply stating the TRUTH is “getting dirty” according to the elitists.

And that’s the truth that will be the biggest punch in the nose for these people.

The fight is between elitISTS who believe they know better about your life,
and INDIVIDUALISTS that want to make their own decisions.

It’s not ‘Rat v GOP, or Con v Lib. It’s just about who makes the decisions in your life.

If the GOP doesn’t disassociate from these RINOs they won’t have any support from me.

The very people who voted for Barack Obama?

As a matter of arithmetic, you're going to need to get some of those people in order to win next time.

So the next time you hear some well-meaning Republican retread wax on about the need to grow the party by abandoning conservative principles for those of the left, simply show him the door. In fact, open it for him, and let it hit ’em in the rear for good measure.

I say kick him/her in the ass, too.

It may be time for the organization of a “Red Country” out of parts of what has become “the Untied States of America”.

Anything left over can become the “Blue Country”, though it may be highly fragmentated, consisting of islands scattered among the nearly contiguous “Red Country”.

The “Red Country” shall adopt, as its charter, the Redeclaration of Independence, following nearly word for word the original Declaration of Independence, and as its Constitution, adopt the existing US Constitution with MOST of the Amendemnts, except for the 16th, the 17th, the infamous 18th, the now useless 21st, the 23rd and the 26th.

The “Blue Country” may continue to be governed by whatever the hell set of rules they want. Just don’t try to impose them on the “Red Country”.

Attempts to infiltrate the “Red Country” by elements from the “Blue Country” shall be met with armed force and a very loose set of “rules of engagement”. Shoot first and ask later, winning forgiveness is much easier than seeking permission.

We’d better find some unity among ourselves, and throw our support behind a leader we can all follow.

That leader has the task of developing the platform we can all unite behind - and convincing us he can carry through with it.

It seems that much of our discussion is over what should constitute that platform. But while in normal times we’re free to have fierce “Jefferson vs. Adams” type debates among ourselves, now is the time for a “colonists vs. redcoats” war for our very freedom against tyrants in power.

In short, we may not like Gen. Washington, but if he’s up to the task, we’d better fall in line behind him. (Unfortunately, many who would like to lead us don’t even understand what the task is!)

Some additional verbiage in this “new” Constitution
should include a prohibition on “interpretation” by
the courts. It was implied in the original, but ignored obviously, by those who saw it as too restricting to their
agenda.

This nation shall be a nation of LAWS, not of arbitrary rule of Men. The LAWS of this Constitution shall not be subject to “interpretation”, but mean exactly what the ratifiers meant in the plain wording of the document.

The last one, without such proscriptive wording,
kept our country free for 230 years.

Perhaps we can do better than that.

Romney’s as big of an elitist as any leftist.

They have the goal of substituting our discretion and goals with their own. That’s elitism. All they differ on is the methods.

Precisely. You may think that "McCarthyism" is a legitimate criticism of people who draw extreme comparisons - but "McCarthyism" was created as a smear of McCarthy and whoever the modern sophists (i.e., socialists in journalism and outside of it but simpatico with it) are tarring with that brush. We see the identical process being performed with the word "Swiftboating" - it is a smear of both the SBVT and whoever else the sophists tar with that brush.

Both "McCarthyism" and "swiftboating" are Newspeak neologisms.

You are 100% correct, they LOATHE the truth! I sell firearms for a living.Over the 4th of July weekend a “gentleman” came into my store to look around. After several minutes of perusing my nearly empty ammo supply, he asked me what the “real” reason was for the ammo shortage. After eight months of explaining all the different factors it still comes down to one word, obama.
Well this “gentleman”(from downstate wisconsin), got VERY upset. How DARE I take the name of the chosen one in vain!!!! He then proceded to explain to me how Reagan and both Bush’s were responsible for the assault weapons ban and brady bill, respectivley!!!!I almost S*** myself!!!
the audacity these libtards will go to to protect “dear leader” is amazing and very sickening!! Well back to work, I’ve got to go sell more guns!!!! KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY!!!!

The Frenceh Revolution, and the power of the Paris Commune, was finally put down by a fiery young Corsician, Napoleon Bonaparte, who gave the masses on the streets of Paris a “whiff of grapeshot”, shrapnel loosly piled in a cannon and fired into the crowd.

Great for dispersing a mob quickly. And once the mob is dispersed, much easier to contain the remnants, and hold them for execution.

Bonaparte is often held up as the model by which Adolf Hitler patterned himself.

So how many will you drive away in an attempt to appease Obama voters?

Many people voted for Obama because of the disaster George Bush was.

The GOP needs to get back to basics...smaller, less powerful government. Less taxes and more freedom. It’s very simple.

Trying to out do Obama will not win any elections.

A very simple concept, on which the entire platform should be based, is

moving the locus of discretion to the individual in all possible matters.

Frankly, I have yet to see a candidate who (A) understands the task and (B) is up to it.

(I’m sure I’ll draw some fire for this, but while Palin may well understand what needs to be done, I’m not convinced she can do it...although she beats Romney hands-down, who doesn’t have a clue about liberty.)

I fear we’re going to have to dig deeper than the names which scroll across the bottom of CNN/Fox/ETC if we want to find someone who’ll lead this nation to victory and freedom. And we FreeRepublicans need to move beyond re-posting the headlines spoonfed to us by the anti-American press, and thus remove those tired old faces of failure who are blocking our view!
