Anyway, I think I figured out why Leahey said Sotomayor was denied the classics, if you remember our discussion on this thread the other day.

Did anybody hear the collage of horrible vocabulary usage out of this woman’s mouth the other day.

She can’t get a grip on the word “imminent” and “eminent” if even I’m spelling them right. You know though, “eminent domain”...an oft-used legal term. And “imminent” as in “he faced an imminent death”.

Also said misused the word “stored” and “story”.

couple of other.....sorry, it was the sad that someone with such a poor vocabulary is actually on the podium to be on the Supreme Court.

She also seems to have a pitifully hidden nasty temperment.

Obama likes her, though, so she’s a Communist like him I must assume.

I love how Linda Chavez took her apart today in the hearings. Chavez related what Sotomayor has said about her getting into the universities she attended.

Chavez: Sotomayor got into collage under affirmative action and she realized she was not as ready as she should be and at one point was told her writing was not up to par and she need to improve. She studied and did improve!

Ahhhhh ... just like those firefighters who studied for months did to pass a test!

We had a minor thunderstorm blow through, it’s starting to get dark again so there must be another one blowing through, we had over a month of almost continuous thunderstorms and this week it’s actually been nice, this is the first day for storms and they are predicted through Monday........one good thing..........I don’t have to shovel this stuff!
