Arizona: John McCain's presidential campaign ended in defeat, but it had enough leftover cash to help McCain boost his campaign coffers as he seeks a fifth term in 2010. McCain raised $1.6 million in the second quarter, of which $900,000 came from his 2008 presidential campaign account. McCain also took in $166,000 from McCain Leadership Fund, a joint fundraising committee that shares its proceeds between McCain's campaign committee and his leadership PAC, Country First PAC.

That’s Sarah’s money! Not McCain’s money!

Or he should just return it to the donors. Instead, he’s using it to save himself in 2010.

What a pr*ck.

I sent in a few buck and put a note on the card: “Because of Sara Palin”. John can just forward it to what ever organization Sara says.

I keep getting calls and mail for donations from various republican organizations. I will give them a answer when I see what they do with Sotomayor. No I don't expect them to knock her off, but I do expect a vote on principle as did the Son of O Bama.

Yeah, I know I want my 25 bucks back, I know, it wasn’t much, but it was all I could give, and I only gave it cause of Sarah, I felt cheated seeing McCain show no effort and when he told that elderly woman that “There was nothing to fear in Obama, he will make a great President” I wanted to vomit

I gave $150 and I’d like it back!

Wonder how we can get our money back?

My donation will be easy to return to me or, better yet, give to Sarah. I donated $100.99 specifically so it could be traced easily.

I did not give the donation until Sarah was named as the VP candidate. I would not donate a dime to McCain.

I ran McCain’s name through the names listed as donors on SarahPAC’s FEC report, and McCain isn’t among them.

Well he spoke very highly of her today on Cavuto and said he was also very upset at the attacks on her and her family.

If you run the numbers if you take away the money he transferred to himself from the campaign fund, Sarah brought in more money than he in the second quarter.

I wrote the campaign and said I wanted my cash back after what they did to Sarah. I included a note that she was the only reason I voted for Mclame not to mention the $ - never heard back from them. Knew it was a pipedream to get the $ back but had actually heard of someone being successful. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
