His best film was High Crimes and that was over 7 years ago. He did a few others since then but probably does pick and chose what he wants to be in. A great family man does not equal well known actor.

And just because you haven’t seen a majority of his films doesn’t mean he isn’t well known. It’s all relative.

If you asked the average person in their late teens/early twenties who Humphrey Bogart is, they’d probably look at you and ask if he’s a baseball player.

Have you seen I Am David or The Count of Monte Cristo? Great films, if you like that sort of movie.
