Sorry for the link to Media Matters, moist towelette provided after watching. At this link Brit comments on Obamas notion that Iranian protesters want justice and not George Bushs word Freedom. Today in the streets of Iran tens of thousands of protesters were seen shouting FREEDOM much to the dismay of our president.
Apparently the Iranians didnt get the memo. Barack Obama may be politically correct with the left but hes politically wrong when it comes to the rest of the middle east. Freedom is a universal will for all human beings and our president here is the odd man out. The doctrine of moral relativism is no substitute for the kind of foreign relations needed in Iran right now and its the martyrs like Neda who pay the ultimate price for this failed policy.
Simple-
The word “Freedom” in not in Obozo’s vocabulary. He does not understand the meaning of the word, nor the concept.
He is totally Un-American, and Anti-American.
BUMP
Actually Pres. Obama might have a point in this situation (Iran) because they guy they are rooting for (Mousavi) is not much different than the current nutjob.
Obama hates America and but not the “freedom” afforded him. God Bless America
Well said!
Without freedom, there is no justice.
Mousavi may not be the answer but he would be a start.
As Ann Coulter pointed out, they are not out in the streets because they ‘liked Mousavi’s answer better on the boxers or briefs question’.
The Iranians are not out in the streets because they liked mullah approved idiot #2 better than mullah approved idiot #1.
They are out in the streets because it was rubbed in their faces that the one small role they were supposedly given in directing the fate of their nation (choosing between candidates approved by religious authorities) was a lie and a sham.
He'd be better off tending to the legal matters of a small town in Illinois than screwing up as President.
That remains to be seen. I say “give Mousavi a chance” and “death to the Mullahs!”
He’s a child of the late 70’s early 80’s. He spouts Peter Tosh all the time. Peter Tosh has a song called Equal Rights, and to a word it’s main refrain is a copy of what Obama says. To wit:
Everybody talking about peace
Noone is talking about justice
I don’t want no peace without equal rights
and justice
Further proof Obama is the child of this era can be found in his acceptance speech:
We gotta pick ourselves up, and dust ourselves off, and start all over again.
Another Tosh plagiarism. As Spock would say “Fascinating”
What’s next, some speech lines taken from a Joe Jackson song? Or maybe the Police.
When this stuff first started happening, I thought like you do. They want freedom, they want real democracy. But as time goes on, I'm not so sure. When I hear scrams of "Allu Akbar" screamed in the streets of Tehran, I don't think they really want freedom, at least not the kind of freedom we have in this country.
Uhbama speak: Justice is just another word for socialism.
I think the protesters in Iran might have something to say about that.
“TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Tens of thousands of government opponents packed Iran’s main Islamic prayer service Friday, chanting “freedom, freedom...”

Good one.
So your objection to them wanting freedom is that they also think “God is great”?
Their foes are trying to cast the argument as “religion” vs “secularism”. By embracing those Iranian clerics who oppose the regime, and showing that they too think “God is great” they are indicating that one need not give up their religion in order to oppose the religious authorities who are in tyrannical control of their nation.
Oh of course it isn’t freedom they want...why this s the exact reason they chant “FREEDOM”. DUH Oboz is a corrupt lying moron who is in way over his head.
der fuhrer speaks psychobabble and has no perspective on history
