Thank you very much!
Normally I woulldn’t believe such tripe........ but these ain’t normal times.
Oh. Dear. God.
This is frightening.
OMG!!!!!!!!! It isn’t like we didn’t know this was their agenda, I just didn’t think that they would blatantly admit it. I’m not meeting with anyone to discuss anything. They can KMA. They are spoiling for a fight.
This cannot be true of Our Dear Leader - did Jim Thompson plant this story?
All congress critters should also be on SS. In fact, many should already receive counseling on the blessings of suicide.
God forgive us! I am so mad at what voters have done! Here at Free Republic we can say, I told you so...but that is not very rewarding as we are going to suffer right along with the stupid voters that wanted if. Wish congress would wake up before it is to - to late.
If this is on the level, writing your representatives should be to demand 0bama’s censure if not impeachment.
Never mind trashing the bill. Trash the freak behind it.
Is there a transcript of the show??/
Will these lawmakers lead by example, or will they be afforded special privileges and separate rules from the people, what with their elite status and all?
Somehow I picture some feisty old people will be giving these counselors a few things to chew on — if they don’t knock out the counselor’s teeth.
Rebellion is brewing!
The only thing missing from the democrats health plan is experimentation on captive citizens. The more we learn the more it is comparable to Hitler's regime.
Another thread on this topic references a different page of the bill. We should verify this and make sure the references are correct.
By the way, do you have some sort of "problem" with your goverment? Some kind of independent streak?
Do you own guns? Have an "arsenal"? A lot of guns and ammunition or something?
Do you know how outdated all that old thinking is?
Got a big garden, a root cellar? Do you like to grow and can your own food? Make alliances with your neighbors?
Do you get into holistic medicine? Got an old-fashioned General Practitioner town doctor in your life? What's his problem?
Maybe you're an "undesireable" of some kind.
He advocates killing on both ends of the life spectrum
you are now useless eaters, congrats
Pull the plug on Senator KENNOIL
All persons whom we bring to this place are washed clean Winston. The execution of their sentences is relatively unimportant. By the time we are finished with them there is nothing left in them but sorrow for what they have done and love for Big Brother. It is touching to see how they love big brother...., George Orwell, 1984
i don’t know but here’s her page:
Betsy McCaughey is great. She actually reads these damnable socialized medicine bills. Says that cuts to seniors medical care is 1/2 of the cost of the bill. Every 5 years seniors required to be counseled on how to end their life, and if they get cancer they get counseled again.
It sounds bad, but if it’s all the same to you, I would like to see page 425. If it is all the same to you.
Does anyone have a link to this document?
As a senior citizen: if they are going to include denial of medical care for seniors, why would I attend counseling mandatory or otherwise.
If they plan on letting me die (without medical care) anyway, let them pound sand. :-(
"Thou shalt not kill"
Liberals have forgotten or rejected moral truths that were obvious thousands of years ago. We need to pray for their enlightenment ... and fight to defeat their evil.
BOHICA taken to the terminus.
This makes me sick to my stomach. My GOD what is happening to our country? Every day of life is precious for everyone from conception to old age. These people are truly monsters and I hate the people that voted for this evil man. This cannot end well. We are in for some really scary times. I am losing all hope. I didn’t think I was capable of the hate I feel for these evil people.
This is simply outrageous and an affront to morality and common decency.
Thanks Jim and keep up the great work.
it’s only been 6 months ...what will be in store for the next 3 1/2 years?
Re: “Somehow I picture some feisty old people will be giving these counselors a few things to chew on if they dont knock out the counselors teeth”
Oh, that is so true — it won’t matter HOW the feisty seniors voted in earlier times, if anyone dares suggest they just give up a la “Obamacare” they will throw huge fits, sometimes violently! I’ve seen it in my own family.
If you really cared about your grandchildren, you wouldn’t be soaking up all these medical resources that could go to them. LOL
We are crossing the line ...
0bama is vile and evil.
I am 62 and my widowed mother is 83. This pretty much crosses my line in the sand.
oops, i copied and pasted what looked like paragraphs but it came out in one big block :-(

I’m on Social Security. I’m sure I’ll be one of those “counseled” since I’m not worth the money spent on me. Just a drag on society...
Thanks for making my life feel worthwhile Obama! Thanks a whole bunch!
Kiss my ass too!!
LOL that’s a tagline.
Listen to Betsy McCoughey who was lieutenant governor of NY under Gov. Pataki. She is a medical doctor.
My theory is they are throwing in some raw meat for the moderates to object to which they will then withdraw to show how ‘reasonable’ they are. They don’t intend to include such nonsense in Phase 1. No - that will be in next years bill when it will be easier to slide in all the ‘extras’.
