Our congress critter,Mike Thompson in Calif 1st dist claims to be a “blue dog” and he is fully on board with this as he was with Cap and TAX. Instead of blue dog I say he is a LAP DOG. A Pelosi Poodle
Blue dog is just a term for somebody in a vulnerable district that claim to be independent occasionally, but votes with Pelosi anyway.
The trumpeting of alleged independence in the press is what matters. The actual vote will be very silent.
We have one of those in my district. We usually read front page stories about Gabby Giffords installing low water toilets in orphanages and giving apples to old people on the street, but our local red rag gave no flourishes to her vote for cap and tax.
