I would LOVE a George W. Bush hug, and I wouldn’t come near either Bono or Obama.
It was a prayer breakfast. I missed that the first time. Stunningly inappropriate. And I thought I couldn’t respect Obama any less.

So why bring this up now? Why tell the press this unless you are trying to mock President Bush? Personally, I think it reflects poorly on Bono. Shows he’s not the big minded moral guy he likes to pretend.
That’s why I said he’s a jackass. I was impressed with what Bono said about Bush in Africa. I used that fact to win an argument with a BDS lib who asked me to name one good thing that Bush did. I was very disappointed to hear him say that and subsequently gloat about it.

Bush is no longer the acting President, that is true. Obama, on the other hand, is not my president - he does not represent all of America, and has demonstrated (from what I’ve seen so far) far more commonality with our enemies than with Americans.
