Shouldn’t the cop’s son be charged with assault? He is not a cop, yet he assaulted the young woman.

I was wondering the same thing. Something needs to go on that young man’s record so that later in life if he continues to assault other people there will be a clear history of violent tendencies. The scary thing is how quickly the young man went from avoiding confrontation at the accident itself to assaulting the woman once he could hide behind his Dad’s sense of authority.
