It’s a good thing this happened in America and not Mexico. In Ammerica, when this happens, you are taken to the hospital. In Mexico, they just tell you to go home.

Look on the bright side, Obamacare may just change all that and tell them to get on the list if they want to go to the hospital

Funny you say that. When I was in the garden city* of Juarez, I noticed a disproportionate number of one legged men, and I thought that was odd. Later, I was informed that for many maladies (such as a broken leg), the doctors there just cut off the offending limb and call it a day.

In America we give dogs better treatment than that.
