The root of the problem between the short form registration and the long form birth certificate is that you can be born anywhere and get a short form by just declaring it, but you have to physically be born in Hawaii to get the long form.

I suspect the reason Barry is playing short form games to the tune of a million bucks in legal fees is that he thought he could buy a long form by now and is finding it harder to do than he thought.

At this point if Barry showed a long form with a great flourish I would suspect it is just a payoff in the registration office. One does not spend a million bucks to avoid having to fill out a simple form and then produce it. Barry has lost all credibility.

What about his right as an individual?

AT the age of 18, he/she needs to walk into the nearest diplomatic office of the USA and register for the draft and swear allegiance to the USA. That reinstates their citizenship.

and they rescinded the orders rather than put the good Major on trial.

After serving in the military for years, trust me, they don't give a rip about some Major, Majors are disposable and easily replaced. It was Obama they did not want on trial, simply because they know he cannot pass muster. Military courts are not as easily bought and paid for as Civilian courts. A military trial for Obama is a risk not worth taking for the Usurper in Chief and his investors.

Along with everyone else who enabled it. . .

That would wipe out most of Congress and the Supreme Court. Interesting turn of events would it not be?

How long did it take you geeks at google to figure this out?

No time. They're too busy censoring the internet for the Chicoms.

“Impeachment” implies that he’s the POTUS. If all of this is true then he’s not the POTUS”

Excellent point I will never again use that word in reference to the Kenyan.

Show me.

Show you what? The exception that does not exist? The State Department site says, clearly and unambiguously, that a parent cannot renounce citizenship on behalf of a minor child. If you are going to claim that there is an exception for adoption, the burden of proof is on you.

So if both my husband and I have a child in Georgia and we go loopy and decide to move to another country when he is 2 and renounce our citizenship, even though my child was born in this country he does not have the right to his citizenship anymore? What about his right as an individual?

He is still a US citizen. Your renunciation has no effect on his citizenship status.

I agree that something will have to happen someday since the situation will always haunt Zero. The whole issue has singlehandedly made me lose faith in the system and I am most offended by the Massacre Media and the propaganda they foist on a dumbed down public.
Anyway, fingers always crossed and I will keep hope alive that we can someday call Joe Biden President. For his infinite warts and flaws, there is a certain “village idiot” charm to him because of his inability to shut the hell up. It would be light years better than the cold and calculating commie that we now endure and will ultimately try to survive.
Godspeed FRiend.

Wow, thanks for posting that, I didn’t believe it was that way.

The questions then are, did Barack renounce it (and I think he would have), and never try to get it reinstated within the 6 month window after he turned 18.

Since it was being publicly alleged that Chester Arthur himself was born in Ireland, it must have crossed more than a few minds that his father was still an Irish citizen.

I said, "known", not "speculated". I'm sure it did cross a few minds, but they were so intent on finding the "foreign birth certificate", or at least proof thereof, they didn't look for naturalization papers for his father. Of course since Arthur actively concealed the fact, missing only the copy in the National Archives, even if they had looked, they might not have found it.

There were really no "birth certificates" as we know them today in those days. Births, and marriages for that matter, were recorded in the family Bible, or equivalent, and in church records. Churches without infant baptism might not have a record of place of birth either.

That happens in about 39 months

Sure about that are you? Wish I was.

Apparently historians are agreed that the issue of Arthur's birthplace has been set to rest by the discovery of the Arthur family Bible. If there were such a thing as the Obama family Bible, I don't think it would suffice.

If he traveled on an Indonesian Passport or he enrolled as a foreign student then there is no way he was able to claim his citizenship after turning 18.
