Honduran President to Clinton: Nuts
Citizen5408 ^ | July 21, 2009 | Greg C.

Posted on 07/20/2009 10:07:01 PM PDT by FreedomFighter1013

Michelletti says he will not renounce the presidency; Zelaya return not possible.

Surrounded by countries ruled by communist strongmen supported by the Obama administration, Honduras is bravely struggling to maintain its constitutional sovereignty.

On Sunday (July 19), Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called Honduran President, Roberto Micheletti from New Delhi, to strongly encourage the president to permit ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya to return to power. She warned him that the “consequences” would be that the relationship between Honduras and the United States could suffer, if he did not relent and allow Zelaya to return.

It freakin’ infuriates me to know that these jackasses are out there “representing” MY country in this manner. They are NOT the voice of this nation, not by a long shot and I savor the day when we will have our retribution on the communist/marxist/humanistic trash!

Iranian Mullahs steal an election and murder those who protest it. SILENCE from the Obamacans.

Ally Israel and friendly Honduras are thrown under the bus for supporting democracy over tyranny. Obamacans side with Castro, Ortega and Chavez.

This seems like 1984--if CARTER had won!

We need Honduras more than they need us.

We have a large base at Comayagua (Palmerola or Soto Cano Air Base). The runways are C-5 capable, one is about 8,000 feet, and the other is 6500 feet. It's a lot better and safer airport than Toncontin, the civilian International airport.

We don't have a base in Panama anymore.

We need Honduras.

Not a good week for ol’ Hillary. First Netanyahu says “Nuts.” Then the Indians. Now the Hondurans.

And to top it all off, Obama says “Nuts” to her request to hire Sid Blumenthal.

Time to pack it in?

This is the 'comrade' Obama demands be returned to dictatorial power in Honduras.

(Commie old home week: Bolivian President Evo Morales, Honduras’s ousted President Manuel Zelaya, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, Venezuela’s President Hugo Chávez, and Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa attend a Bolivian Alliance for the Americas meeting in Nicaragua. It sounds like Obama has now moved to active support for Marxists and tyrants. Contrast the US position on Honduras with our endless hand out for dialog for the murderers running Iran.

Maybe some of the conservative US Senators who support Honduras should institute an independent foreign policy just like the Democrats did with Syria when President Bush was in office. A supportive visit from several US Senators would certainly brace up the interim government against the real coup plotters - Zelaya, Chavez, Castro and their cheer leader Obama.

She’s in India, one of the most pollution producing countries on the planet, apologizing for our awful misdeeds with pollution (not my belief, hers). She’s lecturing to the people’s choice in Honduras about how he should run his country. Either she’s doing Zer0s light work, or they’ve let Zer0 know that they’re taking over.

Honduras should, if any “relations are damaged”, evict the base and set up air-defense of the airports, demanding that all US air-traffic use the civilian airport.

the Honduran government would not countenance the imposition by any country of the restoration of Jose Manuel Zelaya to president of Honduras

Good for Micheletti. It's fun to watch world leaders all over the globe not fall for the pap spouted by the Obama administrations. Now if only the American people could be so bold.

Carlos Lopez, who led the delegation from the post-coup regime, told media in Costa Rican capital San Jose that it could only accept the return of Manuel Zelaya, the president who was kidnapped from the presidential residence on June 28 and forced to leave Honduras, providing he agrees to submit to charges including treason.

Right On, Brother! I envy their respect for their Constitution.
