I have to say I have become the biggest Mark Sanford fan since these revelations. As a man, I cannot imagine being so into a chick that I would write such gay love letters. So to see a wealthy, successful man like Mark Sanford so in love that he would do so— gives me hope.

100% agree and I was thrilled to see that she didn’t stay by this dirtbag’s side during the press conference like all those other guy’s wives did.
She set a good example for their kids to follow and one they will be proud of later in life when they realize what kind of guts it took for her to take a stand.
The ring doesn’t matter. It’s just a symbol of love, fidelity and committment. He’s shown his wife none of three. The only other reason to wear it is to signify his marriage contract to another woman but everyone at this point is aware of that legal status.
The Duke of Windsor gave up the throne and never regretted it.
