My guard is up a bit here after what happened to Scotty Anderson of the Lions a few years back. He was lucky and was able to prove his innocence, resulting in his accuser getting busted for filing a false police report.
I don't know what happened here, but I am a strong believer in innocent till proven guilty.
Same thing happened to Jerome Bettis a few years ago; the case against him was thrown out too, in fact the DA said it was clear the woman’s uncle was intending to extort money.
