Better yet, the Spectator's reporter found evidence militating against the story. At the time of Obama's birth, in 1961, a notice of the blessed event was published in the major Hawaiian newspaper.

Which newspaper, and where can I see a copy of the notice?

A notice of a Blessed event in a newspaper, isnt a Birth Certificate. Take the newspaper down to get a passport and see if it works.

The only thing a birth notice in a newspaper proves is that grandparents exist.

My grandparents have placed literally dozens of birth notices in the paper and not once have they been asked to provide proof. For a few bucks I could place my own birth notice in the paper and sure enough, there it would be in a few days.

If, indeed, he is American-born I have two questions:
1) Why would he spend almost $1 million to fight the lawsuits rather than turn over a real birth certificate?
2) If he is American-born will he release his Occidental and Columbia transcripts to see if he received fraudulent foreign-born scholarship money?
