Limbaugh Blasts Obama's Reaction to Gates Arrest

Reacting to the escalating firestorm over President Barack Obama's comments calling a Massachusetts cop “stupid” for arresting his friend, the author Henry Louis Gates Jr., Rush Limbaugh blasted the president for mimicking the black supremacist thought of his longtime mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Rather than dodging the question and staying above the fray, Obama provoked a firestorm by calling a much-decorated beat cop’s actions “stupid.” In doing so, Limbaugh said, Obama fell back on the leftist teachers of Wright and early mentors during his years as a community organizer in Chicago.

“I think what we learned last night, ladies and gentlemen, is that President Obama did, after all, listen to Reverend Wright all those 20 years,” Limbaugh said on his show Thursday. “He says, ‘Yeah, I was a member of the church 20 years. I sat there and I didn't hear any of that.’ I think he heard it all. That question he got from Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times, that's when he came alive. The rest of the press conference, he didn't even want to be there. He knew that they were in trouble, so he goes out there and tries to dazzle everybody with his professorial insight and capabilities and elegance and all that. ”But when that question about Henry Louis Gates and the arrest in his home came up, why, it was passion, excitement, animation, fire! He came alive. That question was, ‘Mr. President, recently professor Henry Louis Gates was arrested at his home in Cambridge. What does that incident say to you, and what does it say about race relations in America?’"

Obama is playing a very dangerous game right now and he is betting that the race card will trump all.

Poor 0zer0, his epic failure on all fronts is coming to light. He can’t even pull off an effective infomercial disguised as a news conference anymore. His Porkulus bill is driving up unemployment and the deficit. His socialized Dr. Assisted Suicide Healthcare is become political suicide for dumbcrats so even they are abandoning it. The only thing bi-partisian about 0zer0 is the BIPARTISIAN OPPOSITION to his fascist ideas.

All he can do is what a Chicago street thug agitator knows how to do, blame GWBush and the repubs, send Rahm out to twist dumbcrat arms, and if none of that works, then play the ultimate trump card... yes 0zer0 race baiting is coming back.

With all this fury being raised over race again, 0zer0 will have to remind us that his critics “cling to guns and religion” and are only after him because “he doesn’t look like everyone else on those dollar bills”. Of course 0zer0 can never be called racist, because he never heard any hate speech from Rev. Wright even after sitting in his pew for 20 years.

Everyone is focused on 0zer0’s economic agenda, but I predict that will not be his Waterloo. No, there is something else coming that 0zer0 will screw up that will be his ultimate undoing. Presidencies are almost never remembered for what you expected them to be known for during the campaign or the election. No, they are almost always known for something else, often something external or international. On that point, I don’t think we have seen 0zer0’s greatest failure yet.

You are correct in your assessment “we should not take our eye off the ball”, but we should be able to multitask and keep this going as well. This is important in more ways than one, because it really shows the character of the “whiner-in-chief”. Do I think it was a planted question? Absolutely. Did he suspect that it would blow up in this proportion? No. He was banking on the fact that, as in the past, the “typical white person” would back down and apologize and then that would the end of it and then they can go on and say how there is still alot of racial profiling going on. Unfortunate for Barack and Gates, he is as close to being a expert in this field as we learn now that he was picked by a black superior to teach this very subject to future and current police officers. And to state the fact that he was known as the guy that tried to save a famous black athlete. This is really huge because it is starting to, slowly of course, but is exposing who is really racist in this Country. People are waking up and realizing what they voted for in office.
