What I get a kick out of is...if the government feels tobacco is so bad for us, why doesn’t it get banned? Answer: tax
revenue (plus it would put tobacco industry out of business). They say it’s bad for us (booze too) but have no problem getting tax money out of it (and yes if they legalized pot they could get tax $ from that too)

Also, what is the gov't doing knocking itself (and the peon citizenry) out trying to prevent "preventable deaths" on the one hand, and planning to push people into "end of life" counseling and denial of medical procedures on the other? If they want to gently (or not so gently) usher out people who have outlived their usefulness (to the gov't) so to speak, wouldn't it be easier on all of us just to let "preventable" deaths take their course?

My brother lived in NYC in the early '70's, we attended a few Yankees, Spit, Sox games. I don't think we spent more than $20 for a ticket. There was a large Sox following in NYC at the time.

They even had there own hangout Bar in the Fifities. Don't remember the name.
