My theory is that Obama was born a HI but wanted to keep his original cert under wraps because it had some other embarrassing tidbit.

I've heard a funny theory that because his father wasn't at the hospital, just based on his mother they listed his race on his original as caucasian, thus, it would hurt his entire identity politic shtick. No evidence at all for that, just a funny theory.
