I tried again at 1200 dpi, but Paint.net completely barfs and that is the only editing software I have. I had photoshop once, but that was years and years ago. I don’t think I even has that disk anymore!
I think people sometimes keep an important document in the envelope in which it was mailed to them. If you stored your document in the envelope, you could look and see what the postmark date says :)
Why would a long form list a race for the child?
If you have the races of the mother and father, to list a race for the child would amount to editorializing by the certificate filer.
do it in paint that is native on your pc
I did not keep the envelope my Mom sent this to me in. It had a few other things in it as well, a letter, and a couple of pictures... However, I am certain that it was in the Month of March. It was in that month that we rented a house in California, and that was done before the end of the month. I know I had it just before we moved into that place, and the timing coincided with the arrival of the moving truck that had all our furnishings in it and the second car. So I can clearly remember that time line. Let me tell you what, living in a strange city with no ID is a real bitch, even more so when trying to rent a house with no ID. It sucked. My husband didn’t get his wallet stolen, so he had his ID thank goodness.
I don’t have a native Paint program. I got Paint off the internet. Oh wait, let me see if its on the old drive I don’t use anymore... This will take a while. By the way, trying to open that with Paint dot net forced me to restart my computer. It really does not like the size of the thing. This will take a while I think.
We don’t buy ready made PC’s this is a custom machine and has an OS on it that we installed ourselves, so the software is not... well what you would get on a Dell or something. Not sure if that matters, but there it is.
Yea old version gives me the error: Not enough Memory. I have a ton of RAM... 4 gig... but it can’t be THAT big?! Can it?
If you scan at 2400 it will produce a 4meg file. Should be no problem.
reboot and your memory should clear the bleeds
The image is 14.8 MB I don’t have the software that will allow me to open and edit this thing.
I am at a loss. I am not sure what else I can do.
go to:
Start/
Accessories/
Paint
I have restarted twice, and shut down every process running that I actually know what it is and know I can shut down. Its 14.8MB
I could not even scan it at all at 2400 dpi, it totally locked up my computer as it scanned, which took about 10 min and then when I tried to save it, it said that there was not enough memory to process the request. I have something like oh 60 gig free on this drive. So that isn’t it. I am honestly at a loss. 600 dpi is the best I can do.
If your husband is a software architect he should be able to find it.
I get the message: “There is not enough memory or resources to complete operation. Close some programs and then try again.”
I have nothing up but Firefox and then Paint, that’s it.
Ok maybe something is messed up with the scan. I am going to rescan it and try again. I am getting frustrated.
Why are you trying to shoot yourself in the foot by smarting off at Danae?
Just yesterday, the State of Hawaii officially proclaimed that Zero was born there and is a Natural Born Citizen. The validity of their claim rests on the integrity of their record keeping procedures. Yet now comes Danae with evidence those procedures are less than perfect, and you attack her! LOL! Birfers == morons!
Thank you!
Its not a matter of finding it, its the same thing I downloaded off the net, just saved in a different directory. It just keeps barfing. My husband is not being helpful atm.
if the image is 14meg it is no big deal for a new computer.
Your computer probably has 4gig mem, 64 meg video card,300 gig hard drive(used for caching and expanding memory) L2 cache, etc.
I have a 124meg file I recently edited for a friend and my computer pulled it just fine.
What scanner are you using?
let’s try 600dpi
