It's the kind of astute analysis you'd expect from MSNBC - the place for the politics. CNBC regular and MSNBC fill-in anchor Donny Deutsch solved the mystery behind the media's fascination with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
According to the former advertising executive, it has nothing to do with her stance on several hot-button issues - an advocate of gun rights, a pro-life stance on abortion, pro-exploration and drilling for oil and concerned about the fiscal policies of President Barack Obama. Instead, he contended, it is her sexual appeal that held the media's attention - and not just from a male perspective, but a female perspective as well.

When women are judged on the content of their character, maybe then women will have made a dent in society....
Personally my grandmother was poor, she was fat and did not have money to fix her teeth, yet she raised 4 Children by herself during the depression (one being my mother) and she gave her kids all the love and guidance they could want, she started her own buisness when her kids grew up, she was loved by men and women who wanted to be her friend, she was the best Grandma to her 10 grandchildren until she died and she was a woman that made a wonderful impact on everyone’s life she touched....
I only wish women today could know this kind of admiration and respect for a woman in there own life..

The sexual revolution of the 1960s defined women as sex toys. Naked and hot..NO they didn’t...
Women defined themselves as wanting to be equal with men, they wanted to be free to have sex with whom they wanted, burning of the bras, free love....It was the 80’s that started this overly sexualized society that has spiraled out of control today....
It means beauty is based on love. Like in the Lord of the Rings. The ring made everyone ugly on the outside because it made them ugly on the inside. It brought sinful human nature to the fore, and that is ugly.
Liberalism is a religion of hate and women who feast at that banquet long enough become ugly inside and it manifests itself on the outside. Your grandmother was beautiful because she was loving and beautiful on the inside and that love was reflected on the outside, no matter how she looked physically.

This makes no sense...So watching the Victoria Secret Runway show, or watching Megan Fox on Transformers is not going to trigger jealousy in these liberal girlfriends when it comes to their boyfriends?
This just sounds highly immature to me....Sarah should be measured on the content of her values and her strengths, if she isn’t, then I guess she will be measured agaisnt her looks which could fail, with the next prettier or younger face that comes around...
For me (and I suspect most Palin supporters) it is all about her no-mincing words approach to the issues and her conservative values. Period.

Pelosi looks like that because she has been full of bitterness and hatred for decades.
What you are on the inside manifests it's self in the physical appearance.
Sarah Palin's outward appearance reflects her inner self: not being bitter and full of hate, but being a concerned loving person.
Pelosi's features are such that she could be a real beautiful person on the outside if she was not bitter and hateful on the inside.
So your answer is yes and no.
