"...nobody is suggesting...that Mr. Biden is really running the country."

Perhaps because Biden is an imbecile and everyone knows it.

"...he has from all appearances made a good start, if only because nobody is suggesting, as often was the case with Mr. Cheney, that Mr. Biden is really running the country..."

It's hard to comprehend how this might but be true, but it seems to me that it's too bad that Biden isn't running the country.

No world leader laughed at Vice President Cheney.

Biden is the buffoon of the century. Never have had such an imbecile in that office, never in history.

Joe Biden listed among his top priorities "restoring" the office to its proper constitutional role in the wake of the eight-year tenure of predecessor Dick Cheney.

I guess if one means returning it to the 'bucket of warm spit' status, Smilin Joe is doing just fine.

nobody is suggesting, as often was the case with Mr. Cheney, that Mr. Biden is really running the country.

Nobody with any sense would suggest Biden could run a popsicle stand.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha...

Oh, ha ha ha...

Wa ha ha ha ha...

Stop it, you’re killin’ me!

Can you believe this “stuff”. Amazing...

Biden has devalued the position to nothingness. Tell me it doesn’t freak people out to think of that guy being one breath from the Presidency. And if it doesn’t, it sure as hell should. The guy is unhinged.

Witcover-Wanker is clearly living in some parallel universe. He had better hope they don’t have 7-11s there or his image of Biden won’t hold up for long.

Biden Gets a Biographer

November 13, 2008

Vice presidents need biographers too, and veteran political columnist and author Jules Witcover has stepped in to fill the void.

Mr. Witcover recently inked a deal to write a biography of Vice president-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.. According to William Morris executive editor Henry Ferris, the book is likely to hit shelves by the fall of 2010.

Mr. Ferris also edited Barack Obama’s first book, “Dreams from My Father.”

Jule Witcover

8/24/2005
In his farewell column to Baltimore readers last week, veteran Sun political commentator Jules Witcover vented his spleen at the “unnecessary and calamitous” war in Iraq, not his employer of 24 years.

“My principal regret in leaving this space in The Sun,” he wrote, “is that my readers in Baltimore will no longer read my views on what I consider the most critical crisis facing this country for the foreseeable future.”
