Don't know about Mossad, but I'll bet LDS DOES, and the answer resides in Salt Lake City.

A check at FamilySearch.org (public LDS genealogy website) reveals this:

Search for Barack Hussein OBAMA (Pin #2327236) and you get a birthplace of Alego, Kenya in 1936.

There's no date for when this information was submitted to the Church, but it's on one of the family record CDs, which leads me to believe it is at least years old.
