From the time he was a child, John F. Kennedy Jr. captured America's attention.
The country watched the prince of Camelot grow from young boy to idealistic lawyer and then a loving husband. Though he was under the constant heat of the spotlight, Kennedy always fought for normalcy in his life.
Few people knew the junior Kennedy better than Rose Marie Terenzio, his personal assistant and confidant. Their friendship blossomed through a chance encounter.
Kennedy was starting George magazine and renting office space in Manhattan. The political magazine shared the same floor as the public relations company where Terenzio worked.
"He moved into my office one weekend and I came in on Monday morning and I was not pleased," Terenzio said. "And as someone once said, who was in the office at the time, 'You could have been arrested in some states for the way you just spoke to him.'"
Terenzio and Kennedy's early interactions couldn't have foreshadowed their future close relationship.
"I wouldn't say I didn't like him. I would say I was sort of indifferent to him, which is probably worse," Terenzio said.
But thanks to Kennedy's charm,

finger in throat, gagging.
After failing the bar two times. Kennedy's get jobs to make themselves look important and to keep from going insane from boredom
Is it an anniversary or something? Why does anyone care about this today, particularly?
My family calls JFK, Jr.’s, fate, “died of stupid.”
ML/NJ
JFK jr was not my prince, nor was his father my king. They did not create, live in, or even emulate any sense of the honor of Camelot. They are the descendent’s of low life thugs and criminals.
He did slap his girlfriend around on a city street in NY.
I think it was 10 years ago last month. I, OTOH, am compelled to post any MSM article that uses the word "Camelot" in the title.
Please, somebody tell me what good he did?
He's loved because he spilled his brains on Jackie's slutty lap?
Aw, they’re still having this slobbering love affair.
"Cocaine is a hell of a drug..."
You forgot the hookers at the WH and pill popping. ;^)
Now, now, he DID succeed on the third go-round and served as a prosecutor in the Manhattan D.A.’s office for four years.
His heart clearly wasn’t in it, he should have defied Jackie O. and gone into acting as he really wanted.
I was as disgusted as everyone else to watch the lamestream media go into hysterical mourning and get mad at us peasants for not joining in. JFK Jr. was a decent sort and might well have given good account of himself had he lived to go into politics. Like GWB, he had the regular guy touch. He was certainly much better raised than his dimbulb cousins.
what most people don’t know since he’s been made a hero by liberal historians and left wing media is : JFK was not on track to be reelected. Bad poll number in the fall of 63.
Thats one of the reasons for the trip to Dallas. His numbers in Texas were terrible. Nixon was gearing up a rematch that he retreated from after the assisnation.
The anniversary of his death was July 16. He died 10 years ago.
Plenty of regimes qualified for Came-a-lot status.
Kennedy, Clintoon...
MY GOD, where’s the Pepto Bismol. The is enough to rot your socks. ABC is truly shameless.
And how did he go about getting that position?
