...it’s not a Constitutional crisis...

I feel sorry for you, that you don't see the obvious.

Ignorance is bliss. Go in peace.

No, you said this:

"...Well, this pretty well cinches it up for the majority of the public..."

You presume to know the minds of the public with that statement, regardless of who they voted for. You also assume that just because some nimrod pulled the lever for Obama 7 months ago, then said nimrod cannot change their mind about Obama, even over something as fundamental as the requirement of the POTUS to be a NBC. Many people voted for Obama out of ignorance and "habit," or because they wanted to be a part of electing America's first black president, or guilt, or whatever other idiotic reason. To assume that none of them have any buyers remorse over the last 7 months, by saying "...Well, this pretty well cinches it up for the majority of the public..." simply because Fukino made a statement, is, well, a rather large presumption to make on your part. Being able to count has nothing to do with it. Counting is not the same as knowing the mind of every individual that voted for Obama. You assumed that "the majority of the public" will now be satisfied because of Fukino's statement. Are you implying that they weren't satisfied until Fukino made that statement? The "majority" of the public didn't even vote in the last election. Are you reading their minds too? Personally, I know a lot of people who are apolitical and don't vote, mainly because they see both parties as being hopelessly corrupt, but they would still be up in arms over a "president" that refuses to produce valid proof of his eligibility, whether they voted or not.

If you'll notice, I haven't said a thing about your personal position on this matter. My only point is that you shouldn't assume to speak for anyone other than yourself.

No matter which way you want to portray it, it’s a simple numbers game if you want to figure out where the majority of the public is. The first clue in that numbers game is that about 10 million more voters went for Obama than did McCain... and that puts it in a majority right there. On top of that, you’ve got many Republicans/conservatives who are not at all on board with this birth certificate issue and weren’t even before the announcement by the State of Hawaii. That takes the “numbers” for the smaller group (and the losing group in the election) and splits it down even smaller for the birthers. Then you take the State of Hawaii announcement and that breaks that group down even more.

After all that, you see that one first starts with a minority, then it’s shown to be a smaller minority and then it gets to be yet again a smaller minority once more...

It’s got nowhere to go but down... LOL...

It’s just numbers and counting... :-)

When the three requirements for the office are met, there is no Constitutional crisis in terms of the qualifications issue...

You’re really pushing it, Star Bright. You’re on some sort of mission, but I’m done being your foil. Find another piggy-back to ride.

Just the obvious facts, which is what the general public is going to see, and the reality of the matter, which most people operate under, is being pushed... :-)

Gobbledeegook. Your opinion. Nothing more.

I still say that you're here on some sort of mission. You devote entirely too much time and effort trying to debunk the bc issue. No person who simply disagrees with this issue would conduct such an unrelenting and dogged campaign as you have.

You're fighting for someone, and I'm calling you on it.

“Move On” only wants to move on for the real creeps. How much slack did “moveon.orgasm” give to Bush and Cheney? Did they want to ‘move on’? Heck no. Only move on when a real creep gets in trouble.

A lot of people may not know this, but remember Betty Currie Secretary for President Clinton. Two times, when she was scheduled to testify over Monicagate, her brother ran into some bad luck just the day prior. First he was beaten up by some thugs [no reason given]. The next time she was supposed to testify, he was run off the road by a truck and then, shortly afterward, run OVER by a truck while a police officer was still there. [Both hit-and-runs.]

Hey, his strange death is “just about sex” so ‘move on’. See what I mean? If someone is decent, crucify the guy. If he’s a creep, ‘move on’.

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino... have seen the original vital records ...verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai‘i and is a natural-born American citizen.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If Dr. Fukino had wished to be plain, she would have said,

“I saw the long form birth certificate and the long form birth certificate states that Obama was born in a specific city.”

Instead, the doctor refers to “vital records” which could very well be a short form record arranged for by Obama himself.

Sorry...The doctor was being deliberately obtuse when he could have spoken very plain and directly. This is very suspicious behavior.

The candidates have never had to go into court to “make a case” that they were qualified under the Constitution.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Because it was **self-evident** that they were natural born. Armies of friends, neighbors, and relatives would have been more than ready ( if asked) to testify before God that the man in office was indeed a natural born citizen. They knew the parents well, visited the mom and newborn shortly after birth, brought meals to the new family, attended the christening, and watch the newborn grow to maturity.

I am 62 years old and there are still plenty of family, friends, neighbors, and relatives who would testify to my natural born status if it were necessary.

Since Obama does not have the very high standard of being able to have fellow citizens willing and able to swear before God to vouch for his natural born status, then it is not unreasonable to ask him to provide a **lesser** form of evidence: a long form birth certificate, school records, adopting papers, evidence of a repatriation oath, selective service records,..etc.

It really is a matter of honor. A guileless man would be **honored**, pleased, and proud to prove with hard evidence his natural born status. That he has refused to do so, when requested, tells us a great deal about his character and honor.

I will bet my entire 401K plan that tyrants in foreign lands who wish us harm have not failed to notice Obama’s character as well.

Well stated, Wintertime. Many people miss the very key point that all of our previous presidents were people whose life histories were an open book, and beyond question. Obama's is not.

The man is a mystery wrapped inside an enigma. The public only knows of him, what story he himself has woven. As you said, it is not unreasonable of the American people to ask Obama to show us who he really is.
