After James Crowley did a good job at his post-beer press conference, a condescending Chris Matthews—apparently surprised that a policeman could handle himself well in such a situation—said "I think we've got our Susan Boyle here."

Seems to me that Matthews might have made a bit of a mistake here....are we SURE he did not mean to infer that Gates was the new Susan Boyle? That makes much more sense.

I’ve watched Mathews many times in years past and I’m convinced he suffers from ADD besides being a closeted homo and as such, he is angry and frustrated little imp. He demonstrates this often - in fact, you can clearly see it almost every time he opens his mouth, lol. It is an attempt at projecting power, to make sure both gates and Crowley understand who’s in charge.
Sort of like the CEO’s desk sitting (on a platform) a few inches higher and his visitors and employees having to look up at him while he looks down on them.
