Same here, but when you cross the Sabine, you have to set your watch back about 30 years. As someone who knows.
I grew up in Texas and they are bad enough there. But every time we stayed in Oklahoma we would go into the motel room at night and turn on the weather and they would be all around. One really nice thing about Oklahoma is how gun friendly they are. We stopped at a gas station on our way into Dallas one afternoon in the early 90’s and there were guns for sale laying all over the counter!!!
Oklahoma is the most conservative state in the US. We do NOT have any Teddys, Leahys, Pelosis, Schumers, Feinsteins or Barney Franks!

The Republic of Texas and Oklahoma sounds much better.
I have the same problem - natural born Texan living in Oklahoma. My bride is an Oklahoma girl (originally from W Virginia). I don’t think you will need a green card, but they will have to “dip” you before they let you in ;-)....red
Unlike hurricanes and earthquakes that ruin everyone's day, a tornado only ruins your day if it lands on your head. Hell, in Oklahoma we only have 2 seasons...Football and Tornados...Both are spectator sports. When the tornado warning sirens go off, that does not mean take cover. It means "Quick Ma, grab the video camera, lets go watch"!!!!!!!
