Not really...M&S is just another supermarket, albeit with a slightly upmarket image. The best fresh produce in England is not found in supermarkets at all, but in local markets and farmers' markets. That's also why the chain mentioned in the article hasn't succeeded - organic produce and large-scale, supermarket-chain markets just don't go together. In fact organic produce here in England is thriving, but it thrives through local distribution schemes and direct sales, not large stores.
