A new book by Newsmax Chief Washington Correspondent Ronald Kessler features startling revelations about current and former U.S. presidents, including Barack Obama.
"In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect," released Tuesday, August 4, discloses that threats against the president have increased dramatically – by a staggering 400 percent since Obama entered the White House.
Kessler is the first journalist to penetrate the wall of secrecy that surrounds the U.S. Secret Service, and his book is based on interviews with more than 100 current and former agents.

Good point, someone says Obama needs to be removed from office before his term is over = threat.
Someone who makes a fantasy movie about murdering Bush,,or a New Outlet flashing “snipers wanted” on the screen,, thats just free speech.

It has all the earmarks of a sympathy play: credible players, exaggeration, guilt.
The polling data must be worse than anyone in the press will admit. I think it’s BS - someone has redefined “threat” or made this data up. The people ain’t buying what he’s selling - so ratchet up the emotion.

Boy is that true. JFK looks like a member of the VRWC compared to these people. Tax cuts, business encourage. There are plenty of Corps that STARTED during the small business policies of JFK.

I think you are darn closer than you think.
Personally, I think this has more to do with people reporting dissidence rather than any substantiated threats.
We all joke cautiously about have the SS show up at our doors one day, but none of us really know how often it happens.
Or even how many times Free Republic faces an SS request.

It would make JFK look like some two bit player.
Well, I for one hope the SS is bringing their “A” game for this President’s term. Sure I want Obama to fail, and bigtime. I want him and everything he represents to fail.
But what I don’t want is his damn name on a street and a school and a park and a “community center” in every town everywhere so I must hear it and see it for the rest of my life.
May he live long. Long enough to be as big an embarrassment as Carter.
